Taste of Traditional

A town with such a beautiful scenery around and traditional homemade products, Kampar.
We have been searching for them for a long time and lastly we managed to discover. We have found the famous egg tart which is renowned in Kampar and it is one of its specialty in that place. The shop sells various kinds of tarts. For example, original, pandan, pineapple, curry, coconut flavor and so on.

After we interviewed the boss, we were told that the owner of the shop had been making egg tarts for 16 years. Her passion was likely to be seen and every piece of the tart is made with full of love and delight.

She was so friendly and we talked for a moment. We bought some egg tarts for ourselves and friends. After that, we had ate the egg tarts and they were indeed delicious as if they were made by professionals. The egg tart is suitable for everyone , as everyone love taste of the traditional that is full of historical story and memories.~!

Note: a piece of egg tart-standard size=RM1.50
and for the smaller size tart 6 for RM4.50

Oh my God, can you see the long Q infront of the shop!!!

Next, we moved on to another shop that is quite well-known which produces traditional handmade kaya puff.
The name of the shop is Sin Keow Nam.
Before we entered the shop,
we were afraid to go inside as we saw the owner seemed unpleasant to see us.
But, we assumed it wrongly and she had no such intention at all
and she was amicable when she was serving us.
We were fortunate that we were able to find out that
the shop was located for business since 1948 and this indicates
that the shop has been selling kaya puffs for more than 63 years!

We interact with the customer and asked about how they know the product.

The images beside here are the photos taken by us. Everything of this original kaya puff is entirely handmade including the ingredients prepared as well ,and certainly not obtained from dealers. Once you have tried it, we are sure that you will definitely love it and will eventually get “addicted” to it.

Note: a piece of kaya puff cost RM1.40..... let's come and enjoy a piece of it......!!

Before we left the shop, we took this photo :)

All the products that we have mentioned above, they are easily found in everywhere, but what made them worthy is that the trademark of the traditional food. We are honored to share them with all of you as we hope that everyone has the chance to enjoy and buy the products for their relatives or themselves. We target every of you will love it as we human being love the taste of the traditional that is full of historical story and memories.~!

This is the map of the shop
